This whole situation in London is surprising, though sadly, not all that unusual. It seems like old hat in the world today. Nonetheless, I can only imagine how glad Tony Blair must be to have George Bush at his side. These two seem to have a very good relationship, and when moments like this occur, to have someone next to you who you not only have an established relationship with, but who also can relate to the horror and shock you are coping with, must be a relief as a leader. The rest of us can cry and be angry and be stunned, but our leaders have to snap to and suddenly know exactly what to say and what to do. If this is Al-Qaeda-related, which there is speculation over, it may be a wake up call to many in Britain who were against helping the United States in our war on terror.
I can't help but wonder if it is Al-Qaeda-related though....they want to take credit for everything, but this happens coincidentally the day after London is awarded the 2012 Olympics....and the French were awfully unhappy about that. Who knows?
