I've spent a lot of time contemplating this word over the past week. What is appropriate to tolerate, and what is not? I've come to a relatively simple conclusion: that which is not evil or malicious, you can tolerate. I think Dr. Laure Schlessinger says something similar in her show - I'm not sure, as it has been several years since I have tuned in. People do things that are mean, even cruel, without ever intending such results. Some things I believe can be overlooked, or resolved, or worked on. Other things, things purposely done or not done that risk damage to others or their loved ones, regardless of whether or not they are strangers or family/friends, are essentially evil. These are the things which I believe you can not tolerate. I hope I'm right.
